He served Ocean tankers Pte Ltd., Singapore as Technical Superintendent for two and half years. He attended Rangamati Government High School (SSC) and Ispahani Public College, Comilla (H.S.C). He obtained Bachelor Of Commerce (Private Student) degree from Chittagong Commerce College. Residing in Singapore with his wife Mrs. Syeda Ummatuz Zohra Kabir (10/06/94) and daughters Ms. Humairah Kabir (20/07/96) and Tasfia Kabir (20/10/98). His wife is working as a full time School Teacher with Singapore Ministry of Education.
