In UK. Serving Maritime and Coastguard Agency, UK, as Marine Surveyor (E). Obtained MEO Class 1 COC in 1985. Worked as a Chief Engineer for 8 years. Migrated to Australia in 1992 and worked as a Marine Engineer Lecturer in Australian Maritime College, Tasmania, Australia. Obtained Post Graduate in Teaching and Business Shipping from University of Tasmania. Worked as an Adviser at the strength of a Senior Marine Engineer Lecturer in Solomon Islands College of Higher Education, Honiara. Headed the Department of Marine Engineering. The appointment in Solomon Islands was from the Commonwealth Secretariat, London. Joined UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency, MCA, as a Marine Surveyor on 31 Jan 2000. Posted in Glasgow Marine office. Currently in the process of relocating from Australia to Scotland with his wife Mrs. Munmun Hyder (16/08/80), daughter Ms. Nishat Hyder (27/03/84) and daughter Ms. Nadia Hyder (17/07/89).
