Description: In Singapore. Working as Project Engineer Superintendent in Research and Development Department of Neptune Ship Management Svc Pte Ltd., Singapore. Worked in Bangladesh Shipping Corporation from 1977 to 1980. Joined NOL, Singapore in 1981. Since then working in the same organization. In between lived in Australia for a couple of years to earn a degree in "Bachelor of Technology" from Australian Maritime College, Australia. In 1991, graduated with distinction and received the prestigious award of the "Best Student of the Year" from the "Institute of Marine Engineers". He resides in Singapore with his wife Mrs. Shamima Khondker , daughter Tasmana Ishrat aged nine and son Irshad-Ul-Ala aged four .
