Description: In Dhaka. Serving BEDO (An NGO working on Environment, Micro-credit and Health) as Executive Director. Served Neptune Ship Management Services, Singapore, as Chief Engineer. Residing in Shantinagar with his wife Mrs. Sayeda Khanam (marriage date 29/01/73), son Sabbir Ahmed (08/10/73) and daughter Tasnim Ahmed (07/02/80). Mrs. Khanam is a lecturer at Razarbag Police Line College, Dhaka. He completed SSC from Naogaon K.D. High School and HSC from Rajshahi Govt. College, Rajshahi (1964-1966). He obtained his MEO Class 1 in 1978 from UK. He is a well-known lyricist, music director, drama-writer & director of TV/Radio and a columnist of renowned weekly JAIJAIDIN. And one of his AIDS song been taken by UNFPA, Dhaka for their World AIDS Campaign in 2002. He wrote an engineering book for degree engineering students in Bangla published by Bangla Academy in 1998. He is also P&I Club and International ship surveyor, President of Bangladesh General Surveyors Association, Dhaka and a regular member of Lions Clubs International, Dhaka.
