Description: In Singapore. In Singapore. Serving Hong Lam Marine Services, Singapore as Marine Superintendent. Resides in Singapore with his wife Mrs. Laila Bilkis Islam (08/07/95) and daughter Nafisa Tasnim Islam (06/06/01). He has been awarded "Student of The Year 1998/99" prize by Nautical Institute, UK and received trophy and cash prize through a prize giving ceremony arranged by Nautical Institute, North East Branch, UK on 25th June '99. He was awarded the prize for his outstanding result in BTECH HND examination which he recently completed with his Class 2/1 (Deck) from South Tyneside College, South Shiedls, UK. He scored highest marks among 200 students of January, April and September 1998 intakes and got distinction in eight units out of ten units. This was also one of the best result of South Tyneside College. News of his prize giving ceremony with photographs was published in "SEAWAYS" magazine.
