Captain S. M. A. K. Mustafa (12th Batch) passed away

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Captain S. M. A. K. Mustafa (12th Batch), who left us in the morning of 4th February 2026 at Popular Hospital, Dhanmondi, following a heart attack.

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un
(নিশ্চয়ই আমরা আল্লাহর জন্য এবং নিশ্চয়ই আমরা তাঁর দিকেই প্রত্যাবর্তনকারী।)

Captain Mustafa was a respected mariner, senior alumnus, and a cherished member of the Bangladesh Marine Academy fraternity. His lifelong dedication to the maritime profession and his warm presence among fellow mariners will always be remembered with gratitude and respect. His passing is an irreparable loss to his family, friends, and the entire alumni community.

We extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved family, especially his son Saad bin Mustafa (47th Batch, BMA). May Allah grant the departed soul eternal peace and Jannatul Firdous, and give strength and patience to his loved ones during this difficult time.

His janaza will be held after Asr prayer at Bashundhara R/A Block-D Mosque. All are requested to attend and offer prayers.
