Pioneer Ex-Marine and Engineer Sakhawat Hossain Passes Away

Sakhawat Hossain, a distinguished former marine and mechanical engineer, passed away on Thursday at the age of 87.

His Namaz-e-Janaza will be held on Sunday after Zuhr prayer at Gulshan Azad Mosque, and he will be laid to rest at Mirpur Kalshi graveyard.

During his career, he served as Engineering Manager at ICI Bangladesh Limited and later as Chief Engineer at the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC), contributing greatly to the nation’s maritime and industrial sectors.

He leaves behind his wife, son, daughter, and four beloved grandchildren.

We pray to Almighty Allah to grant our respected Chief Engineer Sakhawat Hossain Sir a place in Jannatul Ferdous and give strength to his family to bear this loss.
