Mr Quamrul Haider Chowdhury (6E) underwent an open heart surgery in USA

Mr Quamrul Haider Chowdhury (6E) has underwent an open heart surgery in USA on November 11, 2015. He had to have an open heart surgery owing to extensive blockage. Doctors determined that stents will not work. He is weak and recuperating slowly at the NY Presbyterian Hospital in Elmhurst, New York.

Please pray for his early recovery. His wife is on his bedside and attending him.

Quamrul Haider Chowdhury arrived USA last year with his green card along with his entire family. He took residence in a somewhat remote town in North Carolina. His wife indicated pressure in settling to a new life in a new land was taking a toll on him. He was detected with some heart ailments a few weeks ago. The family was visiting some relatives in New York where some family physicians asked him to get his heart checked up. Extensive blockage was detected in 2 arteries with one artery partially blocked. Owing to extensive blockage, the doctors suggested having an open heart surgery as stenting was not going to keep him healthy.
