Melbourne Mariners gathering – Monday 2nd November 2009

Dear all,

We are delighted to inform you that we have  now confirmed  the booking for  our next round of gathering.   Inshallah, it is to be held at the Ashburton Library Hall, located on High Street, Ashburton.  This event will be on Monday 2^nd November 2009, commencing at 7 pm.

Since this event is held on Melbourne Cup eve, a riveting experience is anticipated.  The incumbent stresses of working the next day is all but discarded; thus an extended night of joyous socialising will be then upon us.

It is extremely encouraging to observe that most of our members  shall be partaking in this  gathering.  This only reinforces the level of commitment that is residual within our members – justifying the continuation of this periodic social amalgamation.  It is also pertinent to note that our Melbourne Marine population is constantly growing.

Inshallah, we shall welcome our newest additions to our Mariners group: Shahnoor, Rabbi , Zahid and their respective families.  We are also elated to inform you that Abdul Hannan will be attending this event; who is an interstate visitor (and an ex-Melbournian).

The main entertainment for the night is a musical program, which will be presented subsequent to dinner.

Full catering service will be provided, enabling the ladies to spend a night of relaxation.  Consequently, in order to avoid wastage of food, please do not cancel your attendance at the last moment.
