Captain Akhter Ahmed (13N) — In Memoriam

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Captain Akhter Ahmed, 13th Nautical Batch, who left us on May 13, 2025, in Singapore.

Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un
Surely we belong to Allah, and to Him shall we return.

Captain Akhter served with distinction as a Harbor Pilot at the Singapore Port Authority. Following his service in pilotage, he contributed his expertise as a Consultant Mooring Master in Ship-to-Ship (STS) operations across key maritime zones including Singapore OPL, Karimun Bay, the Malacca Strait, and the west coast of Malaysia.

We extend our heartfelt prayers for his departed soul. May the Almighty grant him eternal peace and place him among the righteous. We also pray for strength and patience for his family during this difficult time, and for continued divine protection over his descendants until the Day of Judgment.

Rest in peace, Captain Akhter. You served the seas and your fellow mariners with honor.
