The two will look to build a multimodal container terminal in the city of Poti in Georgia with a capacity of over 80,000 teu per year. The total investment in the project is $30m.

The terminal will become part of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) which will ensure efficient processing of cargo and increase the volume of cargo transportation along the route. The agreement was signed during meetings of the working group on the development of TITR.

According to the two companies, the focus will be on attracting investments and resources to increase the capacity of the route, optimize logistics processes, and strengthen the region’s position in the international cargo transportation market.
