Grateful Moments with the Bangladeshi Mariners of Virginia, USA

On April 12, 2024, I had the pleasure of visiting the Bangladeshi Mariners in Virginia, hoping to simply meet and introduce myself after being elected President of the BMAAA in February. To my amazement, they organized a wonderful dinner outing in my honor. Not only did they arrange a delightful meal, but they also presented me with a thoughtful gift, a plaque, and a bouquet of flowers. This warm gesture truly touched my heart and exceeded all expectations.

Through moments like these, I am reminded of the bond that unites Bangladeshi mariners worldwide. I am committed to bringing us all together, not only to amplify our impact in society but also to highlight the significant contributions mariners make to the Bangladesh economy. I hope each of us will continue to support our esteemed institution, the Bangladesh Marine Academy, and contribute to its growth and success.
