The Department of Shipping requested a meeting regarding COP issues; 30th July at 10AM

A Meeting will be held at the premises of Department of Shipping to discuss COP issues. It is recommended that everyone should attend to express their grievances against the Management of DoS.
Mr. A.S.M. Arifuzzaman, the General Secretary of BMMOA has circulated the following message.
- A mariner (preferably shore based) should volunteer to present a paper in the meeting on behalf of BMMOA highlighting the problems faced in obtaining CoP at DoS and make recommendations to resolve the problems as suggested by a number of mariners. He should follow up the matter on continuous basis and suggest further action by BMMOA.
- The mariners faced problem for obtaining CoP should be present in the meeting or can forward their complaints to BMMOA so that the incidents can be cited in the meeting and clarification to be sought from the DG, DoS.
