Renz Cariño No offense but any India ports are terrible. Authorities came thinking ship is Walmart. Stevedores doesn’t care about safety, no helmets, safety shoes etc. They poop everywhere even in cargo holds. Ship is full of orange colored shit that they chew and spit afterwards.

Carl Tomlinson Lagos, Nigeria. No competition. Swear the authorities are in cahoots with pirates there, and they all want something. The moment one gets something they turn Into vultures. One set up shop on the deck trying to sell poor quality wood carvings… they really like soap and shoes too. “For the 13th time I am not giving you my boots!”. All round an unpleasant, dangerous-feeling place to be.

Simon Axcell Due.to.the level of depravity in the surrounding areas for me it’s a close call between Nouakchott in Mauritania, Port Said in Egypt and Birkenhead in the UK. At least you feel safe in Mauritania and Egypt!!
