WATCH: Security Camera Catches Tanker Running Aground on Cape Fear River

Check out this security camera footage showing a tanker lose control and run aground on the Cape Fear River in North Carolina on Saturday.

The video was posted to Facebook by the news site The State Port Pilot, which reported that the incident was due to a mechanical problem.

Following the incident, a reader sent us the photos below and reported that the ship was refloated within a few hours.

The ship appears to be the MT Swan Biscay, a Marshall Islands-flagged oil and chemical tanker.
