Commander Asrarullah passes away.

We received an email from Captain Syed Akhlaq Hussain (1N) that Commander Asrarullah passed away today in Madina Saudi Arabia. Commander Asrarullah was the first Head Master of the Marine Academy after its establishment in 1962. Later on, he was the Chief Education Officer of the Marine Academy, Juldia, Chittagong. Commander Asrarullah can be seen below (third from the left) during a passing out ceremony in and around 1968.

Although we are not sure about his age, it is assumed that he was around 95 years old at the time of his death. He will be buried in Madina Munawarah.

Latest photo as exhibited in the Pakistan Marine Academy alumni website shows Commander Asrarullah fourth from the left in the front row.

Let’s pray for his departed soul for ultimate peace and attaining the Jannat ul firdaus.
