Captain Ashif Bahar (31N) passed away, February 23, 2017 Thursday

Inna Lillahe wa Rajeon. May Allah grant him Jannah and rest his departed Soul in Peace-Ameen.

Asif Bahar took his last breath today at 3.30 AM after fighting for his life. He was in life support when he died. He was taken to Delta hospital. beside Mirpur Bangla College about 20 days ago where the Doctors detected stomach cancer in the later stages.

Most patients with early stage stomach cancers have no symptoms of the disease. In other cases, a person with stomach cancer may mistake their symptoms for a common stomach virus.

When the signs and symptoms of stomach cancer are not apparent, the disease may reach advanced stages before a diagnosis is made.

Captain Asif Bahar had an extensive sea experience aboard well- known shipping fleets. His last employment was with Anglo Eastern.

Let’s pray for Asif Bahar’s soul and his bereaved family for their mental support. Many of our alumni gave him company in the hospital and tried everything as best as they could. Their efforts and support are well appreciated.
