Capt. Kazi A B M Shameem (24th), Chief of Nautical Studies has been promoted to Deputy Commandant. The decision was taken on 9 Jan at MoS and the Govt. Order has been issued in this afternoon (19 Jan). CONGRATULATIONS! ALHAMDULILLAH.

We are specially grateful to our Shipping Secretary – Mr. Ashok Madhab Roy – Sir for his initiative.

Capt. Shameem will assume his office as the NEW DC on 2 Feb 2017. At the same time, we are profoundly thankful to the current DC Cdr. Naim Bazlul Karim for his highly energetic service to the Academy.
