Mariner’s reunion in Australia – 25th March to 28th March 2016

Please find above slides/videos of day one of our three days of celebration.

It was one of the largest Bangladeshi Mariners gathering held anywhere.

We were highly impressed with large contingent of overseas mariners and those mariners who facilitated their families to join while they were working at sea.

It was remarkable to note that all mariners beyond their stipulated roster duty contributed immensely with physical labor.  Entire program progressed in meticulous clarity in highest degree of discipline, filled with fun and laughter that made us to stand out among mainstream Bangladeshis.

We feel proud to be mariners!!

After ‘doa’ ritual, we made tearful departure with a wish, that, if God willing, inshallah, we shall meet again in2020
