President, Capt, Abid Choudhury, Opened the meeting assuming the chair
and as moderator of the meeting.

Mr. Monirul Islam, New Orleans, USA was proposed to be elected as next
President for two years. Motion was seconded and passed.

Capt. Kamal Hossain, Quebec City, Canada, was proposed to be elected
as next Vice President for two years. Motion was seconded and passed.

As there were no more post vacant for Executive committee, election of
Executive committee was concluded.

New office bearers  for next two years are:

Capt. Kamal Hossain, Quebec City, Canada, Vice President

Mr. Ghulam M. Suhrawardi, New Jersey, USA, Treasurer

Mr. Mafizur Rahman, Hamilton, Canada, Secretary

Chair called upon Treasurer to submit the annual financial report for
the meeting. A detailed report was given by the treasurer. And report
was accepted as is by the meeting.

Chair opened the floor for General discussion on the future of association.

Lively discussion ended with decisions:

Next meeting by teleconference will be in 12 February 2015. Advance
notices will be given. Each will try to encourage others to join in
the meeting. Members are requested to pay annual fees of $100 each as
soon as possible.

Mariners Emergency fund will be revamped, Singapore will make
available funds at their jurisdiction for any emergency for mariners
in General.

Salary of Care Taker of Maritime Museum run by JMAAA will considered
for an increase soon.

JMAAA will work with all other organization to advance common cause of
Bangladeshi Mariners.

Various proposition was heard for the next Get-together including one
in Quebec City, Canada. Members decided to discuss the matter in
details in future.

President Mr. Monirul Islam expressed gratitude and thanks for Mr.
Abdul Baten for excellent jobs done on keeping the mariners organized
and engaged. Mr. Abdul Baten asked all members to join the Online
Group for better info and organization.

Chair concluded the meeting as there were no other agenda items to discuss.
