Thanks to all for participating today’s  conference  call.

As discussed, followings are the agenda of Bangladesh Mariners Get Together at New Orleans, LA in Nov-Dec’2013.

 

Participants: Bangladeshi Mariners and their family at North America.

Place of events: New Orleans, Louisiana

 

November 29, 2013, Friday: Guest Arrival is at evening (whoever can arrive)

Dinner will be hosted by Mrs. Raihana Islam (Wife of Mr. Monirul Islam-4th Batch) in

their house at 36 Madera Ct., Kenner, LA 70065. The actual time will be informed in due course.

 

November 30, 2013, Saturday:

Day Program; New Orleans City Tour…to be done individually. All assistance and guidance will be provided by local mariners. Some famous city places are…French Quarter, River walk, Aquariums, Zoo, City Park and Swamp Tour.

We will prepare details tour guide by next month with start points so that all can go together.

Night Program; Venue: Woodlake Community Center, 82 Sequoia Street, Kenner, LA 70065-1068
Dinner followed by cultural function by Mariners kids and family. Cultural event to be lead by our future generation. We will be back up. All participant to contact below cultural in-charge to organize program.

Evening program will be lead by Sumaita and Anusa.

Overall cultural function in charge: Capt. Farhad Chowdhury.

Details program Brochures will be prepare in due course.

 

December 1, 2013, Sunday:

Sunday Morning: Out door picnic and Bar BQ at Fontainebleau State Park, Mandeville, LA (45 minutes from New Orleans). You will  also get experience in driving on world 2nd longest(24 mile) Causeway bridge.

Sunday evening: All guest will depart.

 

Accommodation: We will browse best and convenient hotel close to the event and will provide you the details.
