Bangladesh PM honor guard at the 45th passing out parade on February 26, 2011

Sheikh Hasina, Hon’ble Prime Minister, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was present in the occasion of Graduation Parade of 45th Batch Cadets’ of Bangladesh Marine Academy on 26 February 2011:

Sheikh Hasina, Hon’ble Prime Minister, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was present in the occasion of Graduation Parade of 45th Batch Cadets’ of Bangladesh Marine Academy on 26 February 2011. She took the salute of the parade. In her speech, she put very much emphasis on maritime sector in Bangladesh. She declared that the intake numbers of cadets will be increased from 200 to 500 in the Academy and around the country more six Marine Academy will be established. On this day She placed the Foundation Plaque “ Sheikh Mujib Maritime University “ in the Academy campus.

It is to be noted that, normally the passing and graduation of cadets takes place in December (end of the year). The graduation of 2010 was delayed by almost 2 months due to Prime Minister’s schedule being very tight.
