SUBJECT MATTER: Establishing link with ex Marine Academy community living outside USA

DISCUSSION:

There is large number of mariners from Marine Academy settled in various countries of the world. The UK, Australia and Singapore has a large number of ex Marine Academy officers working in various organizations. Ex Marine Academy community of all three countries organizes get-together on a regular basis.

I propose it would be good if we can establish a link with these three countries or any other countries where ex Marine Academy cadets are present.

RECOMMENDATION:

(1)   Possibilities of opening a branch of JMAAA in all these countries

(2)   Establish ties with these groups in these three countries to spread JMAAA internationally.

(3) Expanding JMAAA will surely make easy to fulfill goals and objectives of
subject matters already set as agenda items in the forth coming meeting.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

I only see positive impact. Uniting JMAAA internationally will open up wider opportunity to raise fund.

Initial cost will be minimal for book keeping, etc.
